THE INVERTED BREAK FRONT CORNICE ABOVE A PAIR OF DOORS HAVING FOUR STOP-FLUTED CORINTHIAN PILASTERS ENCLOSING AN INTERIOR OF PIGEON-HOLES AND ADJUSTABLE SHELVES
THE PROJECTING LOWER SECTION WITH A FRIEZE DRAWER ABOVE CUPBOARD DOORS APPLIED WITH PILASTERS CONCEALING A SHELVED INTERIOR
THE WHOLE STANDING ON A MASSIVE PLINTH

This cabinet is a monumental example of a small group of architecturally inspired furniture that was manufactured during the mid eighteenth century to the designs promoted by the likes of Richard 3rd Earl of Burlington
