EACH OF CAMPANA FORM WITH AN EGG AND DART RIM ABOVE AN ACANTHUS-LEAF CARVED BORDER EACH SIDE CARVED WITH A SATYR MASK SCROLLS AND AN ACANTHUS LEAF THE BASE WITH A FOLIATE BAND ABOVE THE GADROONING THE FLARED SOCLE WITH AN EGG AND DART COLLAR ON A RECTANGULAR BASE
The masks on the sides of these urns are based loosely on those found on a 17th Century Vase de la Guerre by Antoine Coysevox, in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles .
